Louis learned at a very young age about the many feelings and moods that can be brought about by music when his dad gave him and his sister their very own copy of Yellow Submarine to play on their Mickey Mouse record player. This musical adventure continued through childhood in the form of Electric Light Orchestra, The Stones, Wings, The Band, and later Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.

Once he began to take the guitar seriously at the age of 14, he began to develop a thirst for the harder side of classic rock 'n roll. This appreciation continues today, as Louis still identifies with the timelessness of classic music, while appreciating contemporary takes on pop rock.
